CEPPS DEPP Youth Advisory Council (YAC)
Background
CEPPS is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, nongovernmental consortium dedicated to advancing and supporting democratic practices and institutions around the globe. Established in 1995, CEPPS pools the expertise of three premier international organizations dedicated to democratic development: the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), the International Republican Institute (IRI), and the National Democratic Institute (NDI). Since 2021, CEPPS’ DEPP Award has been supporting projects that aim to support the establishment and consolidation of inclusive and accountable democracies to advance freedom, dignity, and development. In addition to IFES, IRI, and NDI, the DEPP Award is also supported by four Senior Technical Partners – Internews, the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI), the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), and Democracy Arch (D-Arch).
